1. Booking Modifications and Cancellations

We understand that plans can change, and we offer flexibility with booking modifications and cancellations. If you need to cancel or modify your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. The following terms apply:

  • Cancellations Made More Than 7 Days Before the Tour Date:
    • You are entitled to a full refund.
  • Cancellations Made Within 7 Days of the Tour Date:
    • Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled tour date are not eligible for a refund.
  • No-Show or Late Arrival:
    • If you fail to show up for the scheduled tour or arrive late, no refund will be provided.
  • Tour Rescheduling:
    • If you need to reschedule your tour, please notify us at least 48 hours before the original tour date. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.

2. Refunds for Service Failures

In the rare event that we are unable to deliver the tour service as described (e.g., tour guide not showing up, vehicle breakdown, etc.), we will make every effort to provide an alternative solution. If no suitable solution can be found, a full refund will be issued. Refunds in these cases will be processed within 7 business days.

3. Tour Cancellations by PrivateTours.pt

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booked tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, safety concerns, etc.), we will offer the following options:

  • A full refund, or
  • The option to reschedule the tour for an alternative date.

4. Refund Process

If you are eligible for a refund, the following process will apply:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • It may take up to 7 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

5. Exceptions

Refunds or cancellations are not possible for the following circumstances:

  • If you miss your scheduled tour.
  • If you provide incorrect contact or booking information, resulting in issues with the tour.
  • For bookings made under promotional offers that specify non-refundable conditions.
