This Cookie Policy explains how PrivateTours.pt, a brand of Autavantgarde, Lda (“we”, “us” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on privatetours.pt.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in a comparable way.
3. Cookies we use
We keep cookies to a minimum. Our website currently uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, or that are set when you actively choose a feature. We do not use advertising, remarketing or tracking cookies.

Local storage
If you start our “Design Your Private Tour” form, your answers are saved only in your own browser so you can continue later. They are not sent to us until you submit the form, and are deleted when you submit the form or click “Start again”, and expire after 30 days.
Website statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits without cookies and without identifying you.
Payments
Card payments take place on the secure page of our payment provider, Stripe (checkout.stripe.com). Stripe may set its own cookies there for security and fraud prevention, under Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
4. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies and cookies set at your request do not require consent under Portuguese Law no. 41/2004 (as amended) and the ePrivacy Directive. If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, they will only be used after you give your consent through a cookie banner, and you will be able to change your choice at any time.
5. How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent online booking from working correctly.
