A visit to “Boca do Inferno” is a must so that we can fully appreciate the beauty of the location. As a result of the erosion caused by the powerful action of the rain that contains dissolved carbon dioxide, cavities and caves are created inside of the limestone. When the upper layers of the cave collapsed, a large cavity was left behind.
A very beautiful location, where you can enjoy a divine landscape and possibly one of the best sunsets, is only overshadowed by infrequent suicides committed on its perilous and unprotected cliff on days when the sea is agitated. You can see the waves crashing inside the rocks in a cave that combines its natural beauty with the rough sea.
